The site had more that 35,000 unique visitors daily and was making $8,000 and more every month from advertising.
The previous owner of the site made, in my opinion, a great move to sell the site. He was in a way forced to do it and to maximize on site’s value. According to him his AdSense account was blocked and the Bitcoin Zebra site wasn’t able to display AdSense ads any longer. This way the major income source disappeared in a blink of an eye.
The other site affected by this event was Bonus Bitcoin, a brand new faucet which was rapidly gaining popularity. Since the owner was the same the ads on Bonus Bitcoin were canceled too. There the move was to freeze all accumulated claims as of January 23rd and to lower the prices. The site is still going strong and I do hope that it will recover.
How Fortunes Can Change
This goes to show that a prosperous faucet can turn over the night into a digital dust. Both for the owner as for the visitors and referrals.
The Future Of Bitcoin Zebra
The site was sold in its entirety. I do hope that the new owner will keep it as a faucet and eventually raise the claim rewards.
Thank you previous owner and good luck to the new owner.
